JUBILEE
Stoverly's Token Showgirl

Jubilee is our keeper from the litter. There were so many fabulous puppies that it didn't
matter to me who I kept. We let her red merle sister Gemma go to an up and coming breeder
Tasha and she has already taken best puppy in show. We let her red tri sister Mia go to a
fellow breeder in Kingston and we decided to keep this spit fire of a puppy for ourselves. We
also co-own the red merle male Pokher from the litter.

It took me a long time to find a name for this girl. Nothing jumped out at me. After a lot of help
this is the name we have settled on
and it suits her very well.

Jubilee is the clown of the litter, she reminds us so much of her mom it's amazing.
She has the frog leg position down to a fine art!
She is in the middle of everything. If someone is doing something she has to be in the middle
of it in case it's more fun than what she's already doing. She doesn't miss a thing and hates
to be left out of anything. Her butt never stops wiggling and she is always leaping and
bouncing around the house. She always has toys around her and is a very busy puppy.
This is the highest energy puppy in the litter
, actually she's the highest energy Aussie I've had
in a while
.  She is very needy in the amount of attention and interacting she requires.

She is learning basic obedience and her only problem is she has to be first at everything and
is very competitive. She has no patience at all. She has a hard time keeping all her feet on
the floor and prefers to have a paw wrapped around my hand because it's closer to the food.

She is getting better but she is certainly keeping me on my toes and brushing up my training
skills.

Jubilee is also learning the basics of being a show dog. I
won't show her until 2010 when
she's more mature and has a bit of self control. For now it's just basic obedience, tricks and
manners and what ever else keeps her busy and out of trouble.

Keep a close eye on this puppy. She's sure to have us on our toes!

Here Jubilee is showing that she
does know how to lie down. At least
when someone is paying attention
to her. This is at 6 months old at the
All About Pets show in
Mississauga.
Stacked at 7 months old. She has a
bit of filling in to do. This was torture
for the wiggle wonder.
Now this is much more Jubilee
style. She can turn on a dime. This
was a fun day in the snow.
She was introduced to chickens at
a young age and handled them well.
Showed a lot of interest, followed
them around but didn't chase them.
Such a good girl.
When your trying to find ways to keep a young energetic aussie busy nothing is out of the question.
So at the sportsman Show we had a chance to try our hand at weight pulling. We never thought she
actually had it in her. But much to our surprise she didn't hesitate to pull double her own weight. What
a firecracker. She never stops amazing me!
Looking sharp in her red pulling
harness!
Looking behind her wondering what
in the world is going on.
Encouraging her with food. No
problem at all, forward she goes,
And she makes it to me. She pulled
double her weight for around 15
feet. Not bad for a 6 month old
puppy who's never been asked to
do anything like this before!
