Gemma is a beautiful red merle female from our first Vegas and token
litter. She is a full sister to Pupcorn and Kaching. She has an
outstanding personality and wonderful structure. She would be an asset
to any breeding program and we are very proud to have produced her.
Gemma was originally living with another breeder, sadly the situation did
not work out and so Gemma came back to us. During her time with her
former owners she was a very successful show dog. She won a best
puppy in show award and is only a coupe of points shy of her
championship. As soon as we get back out into the ring, she will finish
with no troubles,
Not only is she a nice dog to look at, but she's very smart as well.
Gemma has her herding instinct title, and as a young girl she tried her hand at weight pulling. There isn't
anything this girl couldn't do if we asked her to.
The pictures below were taken while she was in desperate
need of a grooming, both the winter ones and the spring ones,
so her ears are a lot shaggier than they should be LOL
Seems I only pull the camera out when she needs to be
groomed. I'll have to make a point of grooming her and then
taking some new shots.
Gemma is an all around fabulous family pet. She loves to retrieve and will play with a ball, water bottle, stuffed toy, tug toy or
absolutely anything she can pick up. She even likes to carry around small pie pumpkins at halloween LOL. If she can carry it, it's
fair game for playing with. She brings toys back and drops them so you can throw them again for her.
She is gentle with her toys, she does not try and destroy them, she likes to carry them around.

Gemma is excellent off leash with an incredible recall, she stays close to her family and always wants to be included in what we
are doing. She takes direction very well and is very eager to please. She will take direction from most people who have food or a
toy.

Calm and quiet in the house, very easy to live with. Typical of a female aussie she will bark when someone is at the door or on
the property but is quiet when we tell her to be quiet.
